I grew up in floatplanes and with a paddle and flyrod in hand.  My father took me to all sorts of wild places and taught me to understand and appreciate them.  I love everything about the Maine woods and the life, scenery and bounty they offer.  Sharing some of this with my clients is the best part of what I get to do.

I began formal training for my pilots license when I was 15, and have been flying since.  I now have over 700 Hours spent at the controls of various aircraft, and the vast majority of that time is on floats or in tailwheel aircraft in the bush.

I tailored my life to my favorite pastimes, and spent many years guiding and filming whitewater trips with commercial raft companies and small groups of paddlers.  Remote fishing trips and extended canoe trips into the wilds of Maine were and are highlights of my guiding career.   The off seasons were spent as a contract forester, traveling all over New England and seeing some of the most unique forest lands and the wildlife that live in them up close and personal.

I now have eleven years of investment management of timberland tracts in Maine and ongoing support of large timberland management through Wings, Woods & Waters Aerial monitoring and photography.

These experiences have allowed me to develop a unique perspective on the Maine woods and waters, and one that i love to share.

I still live in the Forks, work in Jackman, and spend all my spare time in the plane or on the water with my wife and two girls.  Come see my backyard as only i can show it off.
